Initial Narrative

This was a initial idea for our crime drama in which we presented to our AS Media Studies group.

Our idea for our crime drama is the criminal Aminur is locked in prison and he is having a flashback on he's past doings.

This takes us back to a friday evening when Aminur is going to the cashpoint machine to check if he's job seekers allowance is ready for him to draw. Shahema is there at the time with-drawing her money. When Aminurs account reveals he only has 35p the angry teen turns around to see shahema put her money in her bag. He immediately thinks to himself "This is not the right thing to do" however he can not seem to stop himself because he is desperate for a smoke. He approaches her and grabs her bag out her hand, shockingly she retaliates and pulls it back off him and screams at the top of her voice, She hits him and pulls her bag back into her arms. Aminur is now fuming and reaches for his pocket and draws a gun. He holds it up to her and shoots her. She is dead. Aminur then grabs the bag and runs off.

(The flash back ends) Aminur is sitting in his prison cell with all the regret in the world.

Questions were asked to us how we were going to create a prison sell. We answered. " We are simply going to use a room in our college in which will have plain walls. The criminal will be dressed in plain clothing and we will use editing and lighting techniques to create the feeling of depression. The audience should realise it is a prison sell"
