Group name and Planning

Our group name is anonymous, and our idea for a crime drama was to keep it simple yet effective. We wanted to have some sort of a theft with a murder case so we gathered ideas and came up with a plan.

Firstly we thought of locations. Some of what were suggested are as follows; the canals in town, the back of our college were the old campus is (As it looks like a rundown area due to it being demolished) also we were thinking about the roads but we decided not to use this as it was too noisy. After thinking about it we decided to pick the back of JCC as it is quiet and crimes like murder do tend to take place in an area where there are no people.

We then began to list props suchas detective outfits, Police tape, Fake blood, Weapons, Hoodys, Cash point machine card etc. However we have decided not to use any weapons or duplicates as there may be consequences, so insted of doing this we are going to use camera techniqes and sound to portray the idea of us using weapons. Props we are going to use in our crime drama are:

• Cashpoint machine card
• Bag
• Car
• Money (Fake)

Ideas for costumes are as follows:

• Casual clothing for victim
• Urban street wear for criminal and his gang
• police outfits

Ideas for editing are not yet finalised as we want to see what our final plans for the drama are going to be. At this point we are thinking to edit the lighting effect to make it look realistic and to play sound over our video with a short voice over to make it sound professional.
